Central Instrument Facility
The Central Instrument Facility (CIF) was establish on October 1990 and located at room B300, Biology (B) building. CIF was directly under control of reaserch devision, dean office, faculty of science, Mahidol University. The purpose for establish CIF are services center that provide laboratory facilities, high-end scientific instrument and analytical services to the member of the faculty of science. Febuary 1992 CIF was started to provide of purify water for research work and in June1992 was started to do the analytical services.
In year 2001 CIF was relocation to room K629, 6th floor, Chaloemprakiet (K) Building and provide analytical service for external customer inaddition to the member of faculty of science.
The Functions of the Central Instrument Facility
1. Providing laboratory facilities to support research activities of the faculty members and associated personnel
2. Providing consulting services on analytical methods for research activities upon request
3. Providing analytical services to the members of the faculty as well as government and industrial sectors outside the faculty
4. Providing purify water for research work
5. Organising activities and training to enhance research atmosphere of the faculty
Service hours: 9.00-17.00 Monday-Friday, Lunch time 12.00-13.00, Closes on Saturday, Sunday and National Holiday
Instrument reservation: 9.00-11.45 of every office day, Customers must make reservation 1 day in advance
Borrow and return laboratory key: 09.00-11.45 of every office day
