MOU Signing between MU & SAT for Exercise and Sports Science Research Collaboration

               Mahidol Univesity (MU) by Associate Professor Dr. Sansanee Chaiyaroj, Vice President for Research and Academic Affairs, and Associate professor Pipat Cherdrungsi from Department of Physiology, Faculty of Science and the Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT) by Mr. Chalermchai Bunrak, Deputy Governor, and Mr.Tawansak Pimsen, Director of Sports Science Department, have signed the memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for collaborative research in exercise and sports science for development of excellence sports performance in Thai athletes. Joining the photo are Professor Dr. Pawinee Piyachaturawat, Department chair and the staff of Physiology Department of Faculty of Science, the staff of the Sports Science Department, and honorable guests from other universities. The signing ceremony was held at Town in Town Hotel, Bangkok on September 25, 2009.

               Our department has both academic and research collaborations with many leading universities and institutes around the world. Official collaboration has been established through memorandum of understanding with the following universities

               In addition, students in our graduate programs have opportunity to do research in world famous universities and institutes with a diversity of research topics and locations. This activity also fosters collaborative research between staffs in our department with many outstanding scientists. Universities and institutes that we have collaborated are listed as following.

University of Tokyo Kyorin University
Our staffs visited the laboratory of Professor Hiroyoki Sakuri and Thai students at Kyorin University. Our staffs met Professor Yuichi Sugiyama, Dean of College of Pharmacy, University of Tokyo and discuss future research collaboration.
Associate Professor Varanuj Chatsudthipong and Dr. Sunhapas Soodvilai
were invited as speakers in the Annual Symposium at Kanazawa University.
