Social Activities
The Department of Physiology is pround of its repution for a friendly atmosphere and a good relationship between the staff and graduate students. We believe that besides academic achievement, social life plays an important part in molding a successful and inspired academician. Social activities include weekend outings, a welcoming party for the new graduate students, the Thai Songkran festival, traditionally arranged by students to play tribute to teachers, and the New Year's party. Staff and students alike attend the meeting of the Physiological Society of Thailand, an annual event, alternately hosted by universities around Thailand. Several members of out academic staff have been playing key roles in society, leading to international recognitiion and leadership. Mutual understading, and interaction among peers are essential components of out Thai culture, and our scientific community.
