SCPM 502
Principles of Drug Action :

Principle of drug action, pharmacodynamics: how drug acts on the body tissues; mechanisms of drug action, drug-receptor interaction, concepts of time-effect and dose-response relationships, pharmacokinetics: how body handling the drug, fate of drugs in the body: absorption, distribution, excretion and metabolism, factors determine the time course of drug action, drug abuse and dependence, drug discovery and development

SCPM 504

SCPM 507
Modern Pharmacology :

Principle of drug action, pharmacodynamics: how drug acts on the body tissues; mechanisms of drug action, drug-receptor interaction, concepts of time-effect and dose-response relationships, pharmacokinetics: how body handling the drug, fate of drugs in the body: absorption, distribution, excretion and metabolism, factors determine the time course of drug action, drug abuse and dependence, drug discovery and developmentPrinciples of drug action, current concepts in pharmacology, multiplicity of integrated knowledge in life science, biological effects of drug prototype in different classes.

Seminar in Pharmacology :

Presentation of students enrolled in the program, presentation of staffs about their current research activities, presentation of invited speakers and adjunct professors of the department, active interaction and discussion with research community.

SCPM 698
Thesis (MS) :

The M.Sc. student is required to register for 12-credit thesis.  Research work that will be complied into the thesis must be supervised by the Thesis supervisory Committee which must have a minimum of 3 members.  This committee will be appointed by the Faculty of Graduate Studies upon the recommendation by Program Director. Progress in research and thesis work will be evaluated at the end of each semester by the Thesis Supervisory Committee as satisfactory (S) or unsatisfactory (U). At the end of his/her study, the student must defend his/her thesis in an oral examination, which administered by an appointed Thesis Examination Committee, which must consist of at least three members

SCPM 699
Dissertation (PhD) :

The Ph.D. student is required to register for 48/36-credit thesis. At the end of his/her study, the student must defend his/her thesis in an oral examination which administered by an appointed Thesis Examination Committee, which must consist of at least three members
