administrator welcomed delegations from
Ministry of national education and State
University of Malang, The republic of
Indonesia which consisted of Mr.Prasetyo
Tri Admojo, Vice Director ,Mr. Mas Hary
Sanyoto,Vice Director and 4officials from
Ministry of national Education and Prof.Siusana
Kweldju from State University of malang.
The Discussion was on the academic cooperation
by focusing on training program. After
lunch hosted byFCMU,Assist.Prof.Kanyaratt
Supaibulwatana and Dr.Sasivimon Swangpol
led the delegation to meet with Deputy
Secretary-General Dr.Chantavit Sujatanond,
Office of the Higher Education Commission.

Assoc. Prof.Satit Puttipipatkhachon from
Faculty of Pharmacy. To discuss on strengthening
and acceleration of a relationship between
the Mahidol University and Chiba University
in developing expand research and education
activities also on the establishment of
international student exchange center CU-MU. |

of Nanoelectronics Engineering visited Faculty
of Science. They were welcomed by Assist.
Pro. Dr. Tanakorn Osotchan,
Prof. I Ming Tang and Dr. Somsak Dangtip
from Nano research and Nanotechnology Research
Center. They discussed about the possibility
of the future cooperation concerning the
Nanotechnology between two institutes. |

Faculty
of Science had an opportunity to arrange
the study-visit program which was the
component of the Asia Institute of Technology
Training course on Management and Operation
of Science Laboratory for the 8 participants
from Sri Lanka, who were Technical Officers
at the Open University of Sri Lanka .Began
with VDO presentation of The Mahidol University.
After that, They visited and observed
the Laboratory and equipment of the Instrument
Facilities (CIF), then Microbiology Lab.
where they were welcomed by Assoc. Prof.
Sukathida Ubol, in the afternoon they
visited Plant Science Lab. equipment where
Dr.Panida Kongsawadworakul gave them the
information about the lab, and Biotechnology
Lab.where Dr.Attawat Impoolsup explained
them how to operate and maintenance the
equipment in the biotechnology Lab.

on developing and coordinating UCL ’s strategy
relating to East and South East Asia”. Also
there was a discussion on areas of mutual
interest between UCL and MU in developing
academic co-operation, split site Ph.D.
Program, and research links in the region. |
