Prof. Amaret Bhumiratana,
the former dean of Faculty of Science,
Mahidol University, has been selected
for the decoration Officier
de l'Ordre des Palmes Académiques
of the Republic of France
- the highest honour awarded to
academics by a decree of the French
Prime Minister, in recognition of
his contribution to the development
of scientific researches between
France and Thailand.
The ceremony was arranged on January
26, 2009, at the Ambassade de France
en Thaïlande, Charoenkrung
36, Bangkok.
