The Faculty of Science foresees
the benefits of collaboration, not only among
the departments within the Faculty but also
among the Faculties in the Universities as well.
Interfaculty collaboration will allow each faculty
to bring in their expertise and establish a
program of a high quality. With such a belief,
the Faculty of Science has initiated an interfaculty
program, on Science and Technology Education
(M.Sc. and Ph.D.).

In an age of easy access to information and
data, teaching/learning and skill promotion must
be the student - cent red. In this regard, Mahidol
University, with its accomplishments in research
and acquaint knowledge, should be ready to develop
and manage its teaching in the desired manner.
The University also realizes the importance of
having research projects on learning process which
emphasize innovation in teaching media and student
activities. Apart from benefitting from multimedia
and the skills of faculty, students will acquire
the habit of lifelong self-learning. |

The program aims to produce teachers, researchers
and academic staff in the field of science and
technology education to be able to transmit knowledge
effectively and innovatively at the appropriate
level, be it tertiary, secondary or primary, using
all the means available. |

The program involves collaboration between three
faculties and one institute of Mahidol University,
namely, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Social
Science, Faculty of Graduate Studies and the Institute
for Innovation and Development of Learning Process. |
