DEGREE AND GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

In order to earn a Bachelor of Science Program (B.Sc.) and graduate at International B.Sc. Program, Faculty of Science, Mahidol University (SIM), all International Program Science students must:

  1) Complete a minimum of credits                
    > Plan A (One degree)

  2) Achieve a minimum cumulative  Grade Point Average of at least  2.00  
  3) Pass the English Language Proficiency Test, i.e. TOEFL, IELTS

TOEFL 60-78 IBT or IELTS 6.0
TOEFL 79-93 IBT or IELTS 6.5
 

4) Satisfy all requirements for graduation in accordance with Mahidol University Regulations on  Diploma and  Undergraduate Studies, B.E. 2552 (2009), 2556  (2013), 2558 (2015), 2559  (2016), and 2560 (2017)

 
  5) Have a good manner and etiquette, which meets the qualifications of Mahidol University's regulation  

The final year students will be notified if you are a candidate for graduation at your e-mail address before your final examination begins. You should verify your status by checking your academic record. Students are responsible for determining that all graduation requirements are complete. It is highly recommended that you should meet with your academic advisor/ program chair prior to your last semester in order to review your academic records and ensure all graduation requirements will be met.

PROCESS FOR DOCUMENT APPROVAL Key dates in our 2016 academic calendar

To eligible, students must submit the Degree Requirement Inspection Form along with the English Proficiency Test Score Report to your academic advisor and program chair, respectively. The academic advisor/ program chair will review your documents to inspect whether they are complete and you are a worthy candidate for graduation.

If your documents are already approved by academic advisor/ program chair, you must additional submit:

  • Two 1-inch photographs in graduation gown (for Faculty of Science, Mahidol University only)
  • Actual pay-in slip for registration fee payment (1,000THB)

GRADUATION

Students who have officially and successfully completed all of your degree requirements will be recorded on your official transcript. Mahidol University's council will certify your graduation and officially confer your degree.
